There is a very popular saying in Spanish: ‘’El amor entra por la boca y llega al corazon’’.
This translates to; ‘’Love enters through the mouth and gets to the heart’’. The saying represents the way of Latin moms showing their love through food. Who loves you will always prepare the best for you. With different recipes, using different ingredients, for multiple occasions, moms will always put their heart and soul to cook with love and dedication for their beloved ones.
Time spent in the kitchen is for a family treasure to hold as memories forever. The kitchen is a sacred place in Latin America, traditions are passed through generations, stories are being told in the kitchen, broken hearts are healed and connections are strengthened for eternity.
This magical place is the responsible for great inventions and discoveries in gastronomy. It has been the place where some families find the passion and vocation for cooking, like Aminta’s family.

With recipes from our great grandma Aminta; the family is bringing delicious snacks to your table. Using traditional recipes that are passed through generations, the family is introducing Venezuelan gastronomy in the Netherlands.

experience and cooking together gives our family the knowledge to make all
of our snacks from scratch.
